Guido Gaudioso exhibition in Siracusa

Guido Gaudioso, a photographer with a careful eye and a good friend of Trasformatorio, being one of the participants of T#0, has open the 8th of February a personal exhibition in his hometown of Siracusa.

We are quite happy to post some photos of the event. If you pass by Siracusa don’t miss the chance to pay a visit to the big assembly of 10 years of work.

You will also recognize some known faces in the exhibit, because some of the portraits have been made during his stay in Montalbano, and Guido courtesy wants us to give also this project (that is actually a fruit of his own work) also as a small “Trasformatorio follow up”.

Thank you Guido, and see you in T#1!

“In Absentia”: follow up project at RoodNoot (Utrecht)

“In absentia” was performed by Sara De Santis the 22nd of November, in “tafels 221113” an event hosted by Roodnoot.

I have been invited by Kirsten and Wouter to jump in this RoodNoot project called “tafels van roodnoot”, that means “tables”. The project is about sharing paths and inspiration wile sharing also some time in the gorgeous space they have in neighborhood of Utrecht. With Kirsten we spent some time telling ourselves stories, and that became a drawn scheme made by me that we kept and a dramaturgical scheme for a 20′ travel into her imagination for Sara de Santis that performed along the lines I gave her or that we summoned together from the drawings.
I was supercurious about the event because I was not there, being busy in Norway that day. That is why the event name is “in absentia”. We made it as a empty space were someone (me) is not there. Some pictures of the event that was a glimpse of transformation in the making, made by Baldwin Henderson.

Roodnot-Trasformatorio follow up projects will continue ’till march with flows of ideas and sharing practices around dramaturgies, storytelling and aspects of sustainable performance. (get more from their website: http://roodnoot.nl/) and continue in Montalbano in April.

Thank to Baldwin, to Sara, Kirsten and RoodNoot. I still have to gather back the  messages you that were there wrote about the performance. And respond to each one of you, as it will be clearer from next table… but I want’ say much more yet.

several artists of Trasformatorio partecipeted to this festival: Emanuel andel;M. Eugenia Demeglio; Sara De Santis; Alberto Novello; Antoni Raizhekof

Federica Dauri collaboration with Guido Gaudioso during transformatorio has give as output a series of pictures that Guido is actively showing around. Same thing for a collaboration with Emanuela Ravida’. Emanuela has done some more site-specific work in the former prison of Rometta in June. We plan to get together again in Siracusa for some collective work in january/february.

Alberto has continued in the summer the work with Federica and Antony they started in Montalbano, with a residency in Amsterdam (STEIM and DANSMAKER).

Emanuel and Sara have worked together again in Wien and Italy, and Sara’s movement has been recently digitized in Frankfurt for a project called “the motion bank”.

Federico has given presentations of the work done at STEIM in Amsterdam (june), in Oslo and in Bergen during Piksel 13. He has kept collaborating with most of the artists involved, in particular with Federica Dauri, Alberto Novello, Elles and Sara.
His work has also given rise to a first output  in Utrecht with the Roodnot group in a small setup work called “in absentia” together with Sara and Kirsten for the “roondtafel” in November.
