BANDO DI PARTECIPAZIONE

Trasformatorio e’ un laboratorio internazionale primaverile di pratiche legate alla performance site-specific.

Trasformatorio si svolgerà dall’1 al 14 Aprile 2013 a Montalbano Elicona (ME), un borgo storico sui monti Nebrodi in Sicilia, a 900 metri s.l.m., un area ricca di storia e di bellezze naturali. Scrittori, musicisti, attori, danzatori, operatori e tecnici, professionisti provenienti da tutta Europa, avranno la possibilità di investigare strategie diverse per l’ideazione e la messa in scena di spettacoli eco e auto-sostenibili, tramite la ricerca comune. Il laboratorio e’ organizzato nei locali dell’antico borgo, con il patrocinio del del Comune di Montalbano Elicona e del Consorzio Universitario Federico Secondo.

Investigazione
Progettare, realizzare e diffondere forme di spettacolo e performance inclusive e sostenibili tramite il disegno di nuovi oggetti, la rivalutazione di forme esistenti, la progettazione di situazioni e modi di vivere la performance, in armonia con l’ambiente naturale e umano che la accoglie.

Calendario
Trasformatorio si svolgerà in due fasi distinte:

1/7 Aprile 2013: Workshop e Confronto. Durante la prima settimana si alterneranno workshops diretti da artisti europei che avranno proposto progetti coerenti al tema di quest’anno. Sono previsti anche incontri conferenza e demo di tecnologia.
Gli artisti ospiti per questa prima edizione saranno: Installazioni Immersive: Emanuel Andel e Antony Raijkov (AU); Documentazione di Eventi d’Arte, Microblogging e Riprese: tagr.tv (AU/DE); Scultura e Performance con il cibo: Elles Kiers (NL); Soundscapes, Led e Microcontrolli: Trasformatorio Team con Alberto Novello (IT/NL) e altri artisti ospiti; Improvvisazione e Instant composition: Maria Eugenia Demeglio (IT/UK): Trasformazioni e Immagine Digitale: Guido Gaudioso (IT).

8-14 Aprile 2013: Ricerca e Distribuzione. La seconda settimana è dedicata all’investigazione: gli artisti ospitati potranno utilizzare le strutture del borgo per la ricerca, realizzazione e presentazione dei propri progetti, eventualmente coinvolgendo, a loro discrezione, alcuni dei partecipanti della prima settimana.

Trasformatorio intende sviluppare la ricerca, realizzazione e distribuzione di spettacoli e performances che abbiano contenuti tecnici e artistici innovativi e prospettino soluzioni nuove per integrare la tecnologia sostenibile nella drammaturgia. Spettacoli e performances che possano essere allestiti in qualsiasi condizione o luogo, anche fuori dai teatri e dalla rete di distribuzione elettrica e tramite i quali gli spettatori si confrontino con il paesaggio. Spettacoli e performance che si integrino in una pratica rivolta all’inclusivita’, nel rispetto dell’ambiente e del panorama umano che lo riempie.

Trasformatorio e’ riservato a operatori, artisti, attori, musicisti, designers, architetti, scenografi, videomakers, fotografi, studenti del settore delle arti applicate e teatrali, studenti di belle arti.

I workshop pratico-teorici si effettueranno in lingua inglese, consigliamo quindi una buona conoscenza della lingua.

Costo
Il laboratorio e’ una cooproduzione in cooperativa.
Costa 400 Euro p/p per la prima settimana e comprende:

– Alloggio: 8 notti all’interno di piccole casette del Borgo. (Ogni casetta e’ predisposta per l’accoglienza di due persone, ed e’ provvista di bagno e cucina privati).
– Vitto: mezza pensione: colazione e cena presso la mensa del comune, bevande incluse. (Il pranzo e tutti gli extra sono a carico dei partecipanti).
– Tessera di partecipazione che permette l’ingresso illimitato a tutti gli eventi organizzati durante la settimana (workshops, letture, conferenze, installazioni, mostre, etc… ).

(*) Nel caso in cui gli artisti vogliano coinvolgere i partecipanti durante la seconda settimana sara’ possibile estendere il periodo di permanenza a prezzo di costo.

La selezione è a giudizio insindacabile dell’ apposita Commissione.

Per chi pur essendo selezionato per partecipare sussistessero problemi con la quota stiamo considerando la possibilita’ di sostituire per qualche caso il contributo monetario con altre forme di contributo all’evento.

Trasformatorio complaints about male enhancement pill vigrx is an international spring-time laboratory focusing on practices related to site-specific performance.

Trasformatorio will take place from 1 to 14 April 2013 in Montalbano Elicona (ME), a medieval village in the Sicial region of Nebrodi mountains, 900 meters above sea level, a little known area rich of history and natural beauty. Writers, musicians, dancers, actors and technicians, professionals from across Europe will have the opportunity to jointly investigate different strategies for the devising and realisation of sustainable performances. The laboratory is held in the premises of the old town, supported by the City of Montalbano Elicona and the University Consortium Federico II.

Investigation

Designing, implementing and disseminating performances that are inclusive and sustainable, through the design of new entities, the revaluation of existing forms, the devising of situations and ways to live performance, in harmony with the natural and human environment that hosts it.

Calendar
Trasformatorio will take place in two distinct phases:

1/7 April 2013: Workshop and Confrontation. During the first week a series of workshops will take place, delivered by European artists who have proposed projects that are consistent with the rationale of this year. Conferences, meetings and technology demos will be also taking place.

8 to 14 April 2013: Research and Distribution. The second week is devoted to investigation: the visiting artists will use the facilities of the village for research, development and presentation of their projects, possibly involving, at their discretion, some of the participants of the first week.

Trasformatorio intends to develop research, production and distribution of performances with innovative technical and artistic contents, envisioning new solutions to integrate sustainable technology in drama and through which viewers are confronted with themselves and the landscape. Shows and performances that can be prepared and delivered in any context, even off the theater and electricity grids. Shows and performances integrate a practice aimed to inclusivity, respecting the environment and human elements that interact with them.

Trasformatorio is reserved to professionals, artists, actors, musicians, designers, architects, set designers, video makers, photographers, students of applied arts, theater studies and fine arts.

The workshops will be carried out in English, we recommend a good knowledge of the language.

Cost
The workshop is a cooproduction in cooperative.
costs 400 Euro p/p for the first week and includes:

– Accommodation: 8 nights in cottages in the village. (Each cottage is prepared for the reception of two people, and it is equipped with private bathroom and kitchen).
– Board: Half Board: breakfast and dinner in the town hall canteen, including drinks. (Lunch and all the extras are paid by the participants).
– Membership that allows unlimited admission to all events organized during the week. (workshops, readings, lectures, installations, exhibitions, etc …).

(*) In the event guest artists wanted to engage participants during the second week, it will be possible to extend the period of stay at cost-price.
